Beverly Hills Lifestyle Guide
Beverly Hills Real Estate
No other place in California is more synonymous with luxury and glamour than Beverly Hills. A haven for celebrities and the rich and famous, in Beverly Hills, there is no such thing as excess; there is only the best of the best.
Once upon a time, the land that would later become known as Beverly Hills was but a humble lima bean farm. In the early 1900s came a group of investors who were searching for oil but found water instead. And the rest is history. Today’s Beverly Hills is home to multimillion dollar homes with features like sparkling pools and well-kept gardens. Everyone’s dressed to the nines – and you can count on their pets to sport the latest trends as well!
Shop and Dine
Palatial estates and fleets of expensive luxury cars are not the only things that Beverly Hills has going for it. Residents and tourists (with the means) flock to Rodeo Drive for the latest trends from world-famous fashion houses such as Dior, Cartier, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, and more.
Beverly Hills is also home to great restaurants, some of which have been awarded the sought-after Michelin Star. Spago is always a favorite, with celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck creating mouthwatering creations showcasing the best of California cuisine for his distinguished clientele. Another renowned celebrity chef, Nobu, has also made Beverly Hills the home of his Matsuhisa restaurant, which features his signature fusion cuisine.
Beverly Hills isn’t all about glamour and the good life. Residents also have education on their top priorities list, and the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) is evidence of this dedication. The district has four elementary schools (K-8) and one high school, the Beverly Hills High School (9-12).
BHHS, a two-time recipient of the prestigious Blue Ribbon award, boasts a list of famous alumni. Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Logan Lerman, Lenny Kravitz, and Betty White are just some of the celebrities that went to Beverly Hills High.
